Yoga sessions are part of every Magic Mountain Retreat as it reduces stress levels, calms the mind and enhances your body awareness. Each week long course has 3 yoga sessions which last 90 minutes.

Petra Widmer (Toshi) teaches the yoga sessions at the retreat. She was taught initially by a B.K.S. Iyengar student with whom she spent 3 months in the Indian Jungle in 1984. She later expanded her yoga training by studying with teachers such as Michael Schmidt from the Amsterdam Iyengar Institute and Godfrey Devereux who is famous for his unique yoga style.

 

Since Petra began teaching her own yoga classes in 1991. She has developed her own teaching style which reflects her Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga training, as well as a deep understanding of the Chakras.

As the yoga sessions are taught in small groups Petra will be able to focus on individual needs and preferences.
